Hanlan Boat Club Receives Major Grant for Rowing Upgrades

Great news from our neighbour, the Hanlan Boat Club! They've secured a $92,100 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, enabling them to enhance their rowing fleet significantly. With this funding, Hanlan has acquired five new rowing boats, eight sets of sculling oars, and a new outboard motor to improve safety and accessibility for their programs. Nestled between the Water Rat Sailing Club and the Mooredale Sailing Club, the Hanlan Boat Club offers rowing for beginners to competitive athletes aged 10 to 90+. The Water Rat Sailing Club is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization providing accessible and inclusive on-water sports and recreation opportunities to Torontonians since its founding in 1969.
